Mrs. Tina Terrell, our Director of Early Learning, has been working on updating our programs to benefit our young families. With the help of the Archdiocese of Atlanta Catholic Schools, Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and Holy Trinity, she has been able to create safe classrooms that are designed to offer choices and foster independence for our youngest parishioners. Children are free to move around the room engaging in play-based interest areas that support social, emotional, physical, language/communication and cognitive areas of learning.
“It is a privilege to be able to teach your child and coordinate this program. I feel very blessed. Here is a little information about myself. I moved to Georgia 20 years ago from Chicago, IL with my husband and two children. I have a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics from Illinois State University which included early childhood education (as well as a business minor). I started working in the program 19 years ago. With much love for children, I became the Nursery Director here at Holy Trinity 15 years ago. And now, I am honored to be starting my 8th year being the Director of Early Learning.”
