Catechetical Sunday, observed each year on the third Sunday of September, is a special opportunity to celebrate and give thanks for those who serve the Church as catechists and share the Catholic faith with others. It also reminds us that, through our Baptism, each of us is called to be a witness to the Gospel and to share our faith.
Honoring Our Catechists
Our catechists are an essential part of our parish community. Through their time, dedication, and love for the Catholic faith, they help children, youth, and adults grow in their relationship with Christ and discover the joy of living out their faith.
On this day, catechists are commissioned for their ministry, and the entire parish community is invited to renew its commitment to teaching, living, and sharing the faith. It is a beautiful reminder that passing on the faith is both a responsibility and a privilege that we share as a community.

El Domingo Catequético, que se celebra cada año el tercer domingo de septiembre, es una oportunidad especial para celebrar y agradecer a todas las personas que sirven a la Iglesia como catequistas y comparten la fe católica con los demás. También nos recuerda que, por medio de nuestro Bautismo, cada uno de nosotros está llamado a ser testigo del Evangelio y a compartir nuestra fe.
Honrando a Nuestros Catequistas
Nuestros catequistas son una parte esencial de nuestra comunidad parroquial. A través de su tiempo, dedicación y amor por la fe católica, ayudan a niños, jóvenes y adultos a crecer en su relación con Cristo y a descubrir la alegría de vivir su fe.
En este día, los catequistas reciben el envío para su ministerio, y toda la comunidad parroquial está invitada a renovar su compromiso de enseñar, vivir y compartir la fe. Es un hermoso recordatorio de que transmitir la fe es una responsabilidad y, al mismo tiempo, un privilegio que compartimos como comunidad.
